Well, hello
I'm Joost, a Product Designer and Design Lead with 10+ years of experience. I design native apps, internal tools, web apps, and design systems — helping product-led companies go from 0 to 1.
My work focuses on simplifying complex problems and using design to help drive strategic product decisions. I also like to write — you won't find any lorem ipsum in my designs — and I'm comfortable working closely with developers.
In my spare time you can find me at the gym, on the tennis court, running, swimming or biking, reading a book (or a few at the same time) and making my 3-year-old son laugh.
How I work
I work from strategy through implementation and like to stay hands-on. At the same time, I bring structure to processes, help design teams grow, and make sure design provides clear direction for the product. In practice, that means:
